Lou teaches all the machine operation classes. She knows every brand and model. She also has private and specialty classes. She taught English and Home Economics in public school but moved to teaching Singers in the 1970s. She discovered her love and has focused on machines ever since.
Judy started sewing as a little girl. As a mother of two little girls she made and taught smocking , embroidery and quilting. Judy still teaches those things but is a true expert with embroidery software. She does clubs, classes and private lessons.
Jan started quilting in her twenties. Her expertise for making jewelry was quickly incorporated into designing pieced articles. Jan has been an educator in the area ever since. She is well known for her natural desire to share her craft. She particularly loves the art of free motion appliqué and quilting because it lets her freedom to do her own thing.
Carolyn started sewing like many of us, because she wanted clothes that fit. She makes many of the samples for the store and teaches the HAPPY HOOPERS. Her specializing in embroidery felt very natural because she had been a painter and knew her colors. Carolyn loves to just hang out and talk about .
Earlean started quilting about 30 years ago when her son was born. What you notice first about Earlean's quilts is color. She loves color and has a talent for combining colors to make an extraordinary quilt. About 5 years ago Earlean developed a passion for longarm quillting. Now she divides her time between teaching and quilting.
